- 2 tablespoons olive oil

- 1 cup heavy cream
- ¼ cup freshly squeezed lemon juice
- 1 tablespoon lemon zest

- Fresh parsley for garnish (chopped)
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F. Season the salmon fillets with salt and pepper.
- Heat olive oil in an oven-safe skillet over medium heat. Add the salmon fillets, skin-side down, and cook for about 4-5 minutes until golden brown.
- Melt unsalted butter in a separate saucepan over medium heat and add minced garlic. Stir until garlic is fragrant.
- Add heavy cream and lemon juice to the saucepan. Let simmer for 5-7 minutes until sauce thickens. Stir in lemon zest.
- Pour the sauce over the salmon fillets in the skillet. Transfer skillet to the oven and bake for an additional 10-12 minutes until salmon is opaque and flakes easily.
- Remove from oven and let rest for a few minutes before serving with garnish and sauce.

Use an oven-safe skillet that fits the fillets comfortably. Consider substituting salmon with white fish such as cod for variations.
