Description

Easy and comforting Banana Oatmeal Bars made with simple pantry staples, ideal for snacks or desserts.


Ingredients

  • 3 ripe bananas, mashed
  • 2 cups oats
  • 1/2 cup honey or maple syrup
  • 1/2 cup peanut butter or almond butter
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line an 8×8 inch baking dish with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, mix the mashed bananas, honey (or maple syrup), peanut butter, and vanilla extract until well combined.
  3. Add the oats, cinnamon, and salt, and stir until evenly combined.
  4. Pour the mixture into the prepared baking dish and spread it out evenly.
  5. Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown and the center is set.
  6. Allow to cool before cutting into bars. Enjoy!
