Description

Deliciously chewy blondies with a warm cinnamon sugar topping, perfect for sharing or enjoying with coffee.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup sugar (for topping)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13 inch baking dish.
  2. In a large bowl, combine melted butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar; mix until smooth.
  3. Add in the eggs one at a time, followed by the vanilla extract, and mix well.
  4. In another bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, salt, and ground cinnamon.
  5. Gradually mix the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients until just combined.
  6. Pour the batter into the prepared baking dish and spread evenly.
  7. Sprinkle the top with the remaining sugar mixed with a little cinnamon.
  8. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  9. Allow to cool before cutting into squares, then serve.

Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to three days. Freeze for longer storage.
