- 1/2 cup condensed milk
- 12 ounces semi-sweet chocolate chips (melted)
- 2 tablespoons unsweetened shredded coconut (to sprinkle on top, optional)
Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, mix together coconut flakes and condensed milk until just combined.
- Using a cookie scoop or spoon, scoop the mixture and roll it into small balls.
- Transfer rolled coconut balls to a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and refrigerate for 30 minutes to 1 hour.
- Melt chocolate chips in a microwave-safe bowl or over a double boiler until smooth.
- Dip each coconut ball into melted chocolate, ensuring full coating, and let excess chocolate drip off.
- Optionally sprinkle shredded coconut on top before refrigerating again for about 30 minutes until chocolate is set.
Notes
For uniform size, use a small ice cream scoop. Allowing truffles to rest overnight enhances flavors.
