Description

Delightful Coconut Truffles that offer a calming cooking experience and a sweet indulgence, perfect for sharing.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 3 cups coconut flakes (sweetened or unsweetened)
  • 1/2 cup condensed milk
  • 12 ounces semi-sweet chocolate chips (melted)
  • 2 tablespoons unsweetened shredded coconut (to sprinkle on top, optional)

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, mix together coconut flakes and condensed milk until just combined.
  2. Using a cookie scoop or spoon, scoop the mixture and roll it into small balls.
  3. Transfer rolled coconut balls to a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and refrigerate for 30 minutes to 1 hour.
  4. Melt chocolate chips in a microwave-safe bowl or over a double boiler until smooth.
  5. Dip each coconut ball into melted chocolate, ensuring full coating, and let excess chocolate drip off.
  6. Optionally sprinkle shredded coconut on top before refrigerating again for about 30 minutes until chocolate is set.

Notes

For uniform size, use a small ice cream scoop. Allowing truffles to rest overnight enhances flavors.
