Description

A simple and comforting breakfast wrap filled with eggs, crispy bacon or sausage, melty cheese, and smoky salsa.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 strips crispy bacon or sausage
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or your choice)
  • 1/2 cup hash browns
  • 2 tablespoons smoky salsa
  • 1 large tortilla
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. In a skillet, cook the bacon or sausage until crispy. Remove and set aside.
  2. In the same skillet, add the hash browns and cook until golden brown.
  3. Beat the eggs in a bowl, season with salt and pepper, and scramble them in the skillet until cooked through.
  4. Add the cooked bacon or sausage, shredded cheese, and smoky salsa to the eggs and mix well.
  5. Lay the mixture onto a warm tortilla and wrap it tightly.
  6. Serve immediately, warm.

Notes

Use room temperature eggs for more even cooking. A medium-grated cheese melts faster than a large shred and gives a smoother mouthfeel.
