Description

A creamy dip that balances sweet and savory using ricotta, hot honey, and fresh herbs, perfect for spreading on crackers or bread.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup ricotta cheese (preferably full-fat)
  • 2 tablespoons hot honey
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh herbs (such as thyme or basil) for garnish
  • Crackers or sliced baguette for serving

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the ricotta cheese, olive oil, minced garlic, and hot honey.
  2. Stir with a flexible spatula until the ricotta loosens and the olive oil and honey are evenly distributed.
  3. Season with salt and pepper to taste, mixing until well combined.
  4. Transfer the dip to a serving dish and drizzle additional hot honey on top.
  5. Garnish with fresh herbs.
  6. Serve with crackers or sliced baguette.

Notes

This dip can be made ahead of time; refrigerate and add the final touches just before serving. For a lighter dip, blend with Greek yogurt or add a squeeze of lemon juice for tang.
