Description

A fun and delicious way to celebrate love with comforting, layered pizza bites that look like roses.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 can of pizza dough
  • 1/2 cup marinara sauce
  • 68 slices mozzarella cheese
  • 1218 slices pepperoni

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Lightly grease a muffin tin with cooking spray or butter.
  3. Open your can of pizza dough and unroll it onto a clean surface.
  4. Slice the dough into six long strips, about 1-2 inches wide.
  5. Spread a thin layer of marinara sauce across each strip of dough.
  6. Cut mozzarella cheese into slices and layer it over the sauce.
  7. Arrange pepperoni slices on top of the cheese, leaving half hanging off the edge.
  8. Carefully roll each strip of dough into a tight rose shape.
  9. Place each rolled pizza rose into a muffin tin.
  10. Bake for 12-15 minutes until golden brown and cheese is bubbly.
  11. Remove from the oven and let cool slightly before serving.

Notes

For extra flavor, garnish with fresh basil or a drizzle of olive oil. This recipe can be made ahead of time and reheated.
