Description
A comforting skillet dish featuring sautéed cauliflower and mushrooms, enhanced with garlic and finished with lemon juice and Parmesan.

- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 2 tbsp butter
- 1 small head cauliflower, cut into florets
- 8 oz mushrooms, sliced
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- ½ tsp smoked paprika
- ½ tsp Italian seasoning
- Salt & black pepper, to taste
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- ¼ cup Parmesan cheese (optional)
- Fresh parsley, for garnish
Instructions
- In a large skillet over medium heat, add olive oil and butter.
- Allow the butter to melt fully and the fat to warm until it shivers slightly in the pan.
- Add cauliflower and cook for 5-6 minutes until slightly golden.
- Add mushrooms and continue cooking for 4-5 more minutes, letting the mushrooms soften and release some of their liquid.
- Stir in garlic, paprika, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Cook for another 2 minutes until fragrant.
- Drizzle with lemon juice, sprinkle with Parmesan (if using), and garnish with fresh parsley. Serve hot.
Notes
Serve with toasted bread or a simple green salad for a complete meal. Great for weeknight dinners or casual gatherings.
