Description

Chewy and fudgy cookies that bridge the gap between brownies and classic cookies, perfect for any occasion.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 2 cups granulated sugar
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 2 cups chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  2. Cream the softened butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
  4. Stir in the vanilla extract.
  5. In a separate bowl, combine the flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt; whisk until evenly mixed.
  6. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture and mix until just combined.
  7. Fold in the chocolate chips.
  8. Drop spoonfuls of the dough onto the prepared baking sheet, spacing them adequately.
  9. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until the edges are set and the centers are slightly soft.
  10. Let cool on the baking sheet before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.

Notes

For a slightly richer flavor, you may brown the butter before mixing. Store cookies in an airtight container for up to three days.
