Ingredients
Scale
- 1 lb lean ground turkey
- 8 large iceberg or butter lettuce leaves
- 1 cup diced bell peppers (red, yellow, green)
- 2 green onions, chopped
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tbsp low-sodium soy sauce

- Cook the turkey: Heat a skillet over medium heat with a dash of oil. Add the ground turkey and cook until browned, about 5-7 minutes.
- Add aromatics: Stir in minced garlic, bell peppers, and green onions. Sauté for another 3 minutes until vegetables soften.
- Stir in sauce: Add soy sauce and sesame oil to the turkey mixture. Mix well and let it simmer for 1-2 minutes.
- Assemble wraps: Scoop the turkey mixture into the lettuce leaves and fold them like burritos.
- Serve: Arrange the wraps on a plate and garnish with extra green onions if desired.
Notes
Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the fridge for up to three days. Reheat the turkey mixture as needed. Consider using fresh lettuce leaves for serving leftovers.
