Ingredients
Scale
- 2 large chicken breasts
- 4 cloves garlic
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons honey
Instructions
- Heat a heavy skillet over medium-high heat until hot. Add a little oil and sear the chicken breasts until lightly golden on both sides. Remove from skillet.
- Lower heat to medium and add garlic, stirring until fragrant. Add soy sauce and honey, scraping up browned bits. Return the chicken to the skillet and spoon sauce over the top.
- Simmer until the sauce thickens and chicken is cooked through, reaching an internal temperature of 165°F. Let the chicken rest for a few minutes before slicing.
Notes
Choose chicken breasts of similar thickness for even cooking. Use reduced sodium soy if preferred. This dish stores well, and flavors deepen when reheated.
