Description

A comforting and easy family dinner featuring golden Parmesan crusted chicken paired with a creamy garlic sauce.


Ingredients

  • 4 thin chicken cutlets
  • ½ cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 large eggs, beaten
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 3 garlic cloves, minced
  • ½ cup chicken broth
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • ¼ cup grated Parmesan (for sauce)
  • Salt & pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley or thyme for garnish

Instructions

  1. Season cutlets with salt and pepper. Pat them dry for better coating adhesion.
  2. Dredge each cutlet in flour, shaking off excess. Dip in beaten egg, then press into breadcrumb-Parmesan mixture.
  3. Heat olive oil in skillet over medium heat until shimmering. Cook chicken 3–4 minutes per side until golden and crisp, then transfer to a plate.
  4. In the same skillet, melt butter and let it foam gently. Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant.
  5. Add chicken broth to deglaze the pan, scraping up browned bits. Stir in heavy cream and ¼ cup Parmesan, then simmer until slightly thickened and smooth.
  6. Return chicken to skillet and spoon sauce over each piece; let everything warm together for a minute.
  7. Garnish with fresh parsley or thyme and serve with a side of mashed potatoes, pasta, or roasted vegetables.

Notes

Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the fridge for up to three days. Reheat gently to maintain texture.
